Danusia Francis, International gymnast, 2012 Olympic reserve for GB, NCAA National Beam champion and TV Presenter

Danusia Francis represented Jamaica and GB in gymnastics, reserve for the 2012 Olympics and is the NCAA balance beam champion for UCLA 2016. She also competed for the UCLA Bruins and the Jamaican national team.

Danusia has put together a unique presentation, which is focused on beam confidence, floor performance and the psychological aspects of competing. As well as a beam and floor workshop for the gymnasts to participate in. Followed up by a Q&A and time for photos and autographs.

Previously a management consultant at an internationally renowned consultancy, she has extensive work experience in the US, the UK, and Germany. With an MS in economics and a doctorate in motivational psychology, she is able to bring together economic and business sense with a deep knowledge of what drives people's behaviour. Further, she is the founder of OYA: Body-Mind-Spirit Retreats, a project bringing yoga, mindfulness and other wellbeing practices to women of colour communities. She is a certified Hatha yoga instructor as well as a certified life coach. As a practitioner, she is dedicated to the lineages of Iyengar and Kundalini yoga.
